About me
Benjamin Stahl
I was born in 1994 in Ulm, Germany, and spent my early childhood in the Swabian Jura. At the age of seven, I moved to Madrid with my family, where I attended the German School for eight years. Since then, both my personal and professional life have been shaped by close ties to Germany and Spain.
Growing up between two cultures sparked an early interest in intercultural communication and linguistic mediation. Over time, I came to realise that translation and interpreting are about far more than transferring words from one language to another – they are about conveying ideas, nuances and meaning with accuracy, responsibility and a deep understanding of context.
To deepen my understanding of languages and intercultural communication, I studied Multilingual Communication before completing a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting at TH Köln – University of Applied Sciences. Today, I work as a professional translator and interpreter, collaborating with clients across a wide range of industries. I support companies, public institutions, private clients and professionals in fields including marketing, law, healthcare, tourism and sport, and also provide telephone interpreting for social services, public authorities and hospitals.
In addition, I am a sworn translator officially authorised by both the Spanish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, European Union and Cooperation (MAEC) and the Higher Regional Court of Cologne (OLG Köln). This enables me to provide sworn translations with legal validity in both Spain and Germany. I also hold a C2 Certificate in English.
