About me
Benjamin Stahl
I was born in 1994 in the city of Ulm and lived in the Swabian Jura region until I was seven. Later, I moved with my family to Madrid, where I studied for eight years at the German School. Since then, my personal and professional life has been divided between Germany and Spain.
That life journey sparked my interest in intercultural communication and linguistic mediation very early on. Over time, I came to understand that translating and interpreting are not simply transferring words from one language to another, but rather conveying ideas and nuances with precision, responsibility, and a full understanding of the context.
With the aim of deepening my understanding of this intercultural dimension and the connection between languages, I trained in Multilingual Communication and later completed a Master's degree in Conference Interpreting at the Cologne University of Applied Sciences (TH Köln). Today, I work as a professional translator and interpreter, collaborating with a wide range of clients across various sectors. I assist companies, institutions, individuals, and professionals in fields such as marketing, law, medicine, tourism, and sports, and I also provide telephone interpreting services for social services, public administrations, and hospitals.
Furthermore, I am a sworn translator of Spanish and English, duly authorized by the Cologne Higher Regional Court (OLG Köln), which allows me to produce legally valid and official translations in Germany. I also hold a C2 level certificate in English.
